Diagnosis of atmospheric water vapor and energy cycles at regional and global scales; Atmosphere-ocean interactions and tropical climate dynamics; Surface-troposphere-stratosphere interactions in monsoons and convergence zones; Modeling, observation, and applications of stable water isotopes; Cloud-aerosol interactions and radiative effects; Documentation and evaluation of atmospheric reanalyses.
